Forward Deployed Engineer

Piramidal is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge the gap between our core technology and our clinical partners. You will work directly with hospitals and healthcare networks to deploy, integrate, and scale our real time neural monitoring platform.

In this role you will

• Partner directly with clients (hospitals and clinics) to deploy Piramidal’s machine learning models and infrastructure.
• Architect and implement technical integrations between our platform and existing hospital IT networks and EEG monitoring systems.
• Debug complex, environment-specific infrastructure issues related to secure networking, high-throughput data ingestion, and model inference latency.

Your background looks something like

• 3+ years of software, infrastructure, or forward-deployed engineering experience
• Strong proficiency with Python
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy complex systems
• Experience troubleshooting Linux environments, networking architectures, and secure deployments
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineering peers and clinical/IT staff
• Ability to move fast, operate independently, and travel to client sites as needed

Nice to have

• Experience working with healthcare technology, clinical data systems, or HIPAA-compliant infrastructure

About Us

We are building a first-of-its-kind foundation model for electrophysiological brain data. Our goal is to create scaled neural decoders that enable humans to understand and control neural syntax. Our flagship product brings a state of the art seizure detection model into real time clinical workflows, helping clinicians detect and respond to seizures faster.
