Card Issuing: A fully featured platform for Visa, Mastercard, or private level issuing of credit and prepaid cards. Pismo’s platform allows its customers to control everything from client acquisition to account management.
Digital Banking & Wallets: Pismo provides a transaction banking core for modern digital banking experiences, from easy client acquisition to enriched cash-in / cash-out operations and internal transfers / P2P transactions.
Seller Management: From the onboarding to the daily management of each seller, Pismo’s platform runs a workflow process with pertinent settlement and commercial parameters for each transaction, such as MDR, clearing rules, settlement requirements, and days to pay.

Summary

Production Engineering at Pismo implements best practices based on testing, continuous integration, upgrading, and platform upgrades. We are a diverse, dedicated, and passionate team of engineers and leaders responsible for providing the core infrastructure for Pismo’s growing product platform worldwide.

Working as part of a genuinely global community, the Staff Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for the architectural decisions of their squad and works closely with their squad members to create a modular, scalable solution that addresses future design and engineering changes.

This is a profoundly technical and hands-on role with the potential for future progression, you will be actively involved with all aspects of the team, helping the squad to solve complex problems and using your extensive professional experience to build the foundations for future growth.

What you'll do

Technological reference for the other team members
Design the technology strategy to be used by the team
Proactive and driven approach to problem-solving
Skilled in automation to help the team develop solutions and solve problems
Identifies and eliminates technical barriers before they become blockers
Provides a roadmap for implementing engineering and architectural practices
Ensures the squad meets quality, functionality, and security standards
Mentor and trainer to junior engineers, from coding to design architecture
Handle production incidents during working hours as part of a follow-the-sun rote

Minimum Qualifications

Solid experience as a SRE or similar position
Upper-intermediate English - B2 (speaking)
Experience with Kubernetes administration
Experience Kubernetes workload-administration
Experience with Infrastructure as code through Terraform
Experience with AWS Cloud network knowledge
Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery processes
Experience with observability within all above topics
Desirable experience with continuous delivery practices and pipeline implementation using ArgoCD, terraform and Codefresh.
Desirable experience Grafana Loki for logging and metrics; and Honeycomb for tracing
Desirable experience with Azure or GCP.
