QA Sr SW Engineer, Accounts

- Card Issuing: A fully featured platform for Visa, Mastercard, or private level issuing of credit and prepaid cards. Pismo’s platform allows its customers to control everything from client acquisition to account management.
- Digital Banking & Wallets: Pismo provides a transaction banking core for modern digital banking experiences, from easy client acquisition to enriched cash-in / cash-out operations and internal transfers / P2P transactions.
- Seller Management: From the onboarding to the daily management of each seller, Pismo’s platform runs a workflow process with pertinent settlement and commercial parameters for each transaction, such as MDR, clearing rules, settlement requirements, and days to pay.
Summary
The Account squad is responsible for managing individual data, such as general information, address, email, identification documents, telephone numbers, etc. The squad also keeps the customer experience top of mind with the platform, creating new accounts or migrating existing ones.
What you'll do
- Identify software application weaknesses and target areas;
- Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures;
- Write automation scripts and implementing it in software applications;
- Identify quality issues and create test reports;
- Review software bug reports and highlight problem areas;
- Collaborate with the engineering team to solve application faults;
- Ideate, implement, maintain, and reinforce high-quality standards leveraging reusability and scalability;
- Help teams develop complex end-to-end automated testing solutions and performance tests with integration in CI/CD tools;
- Create and document detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to assess software quality;
- Execute exploratory tests, usability tests, and manual tests when necessary;
- Identifying the metrics that track the continuous improvement of our overall quality.
- Contribute actively with the QA Guild;
Minimum Qualifications
- Solid experience with testing APIs testing in a microservice environment;
- Experience with Performance tests
- Passionate about software quality and software testing
- Strong self-motivation
- Excellent work ethic, dependable and responsible
- Must be a flexible self-starter who can ramp up with new requirements quickly and can adapt to a growing and evolving team
- Knowledge in Postman, K6, Playwright, cypress
- Experience with Javascript
- Desirable Contract testing knowledge
