BR - Product Manager, Revolving Credit Services

What you'll do

Roadmap

  • Identify needs for new products and features, relating them to internal, market and customer demands
  • Support management in the process of prioritizing and planning the Roadmap
  • Build the roadmap, using contributions from internal and external stakeholders as a input, aligned with the company's strategy
  • Ensure the squad follows the roadmap, reducing external noise and shielding the squad
  • Make the necessary trade offs so that the development of features stays on track
  • Negotiate priorities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Influence roadmaps from other squads to contribute with large scope features in the roadmap.
  • Understand internal client and supplier relationships.
  • Understand domain dependencies with other squads.

    Discovery
  • Conduct regular discovery and continuous discovery, to ensure evolution of functionalities, products and platform based on external and internal mapping.
  • Deliver concise, unambiguous user stories and epics
  • Design user workflows
  • Map interaction data in user workflows
  • Perform customer interview planning and execution
  • Plan and execute product research
  • Draw wireframes based on Ux flow and interaction data
  • Write a product requirements document
  • Cooperate with engineering to size and estimate value delivery
  • Identify and isolate problems
  • Conduct risk analysis for the business, development or even the non-development of a feature
  • Evaluate when to say no for a feature request, offering alternative solutions to reach the same goal

    Delivery
  • Be the focal point to clarify questions about the product or even change the feature when the engineering team identifies any inconsistency during development
  • Validate requirements and their respective deliverables
  • Demands the devex team to create public documentation that best represents the product
  • Introduce functionality to key customers
  • Align with product marketing for feature launch
  • Propose estimate delivery times for engineering based on metrics.
  • Give individualized feedback about what's being delivered and how it is being delivered by engineers, from an agile standpoint.
  • Master the feature being requested, avoiding conflict with existing feature or past requests.

    Tech skills
  • Understand and discuss aspects related to domain invasion,  database separation
  • Suggest solutions in discussions in sessions such as refinement.
  • Discuss restful apis, events, microservices and cloud architecture with the engineering team and other Pismo teams
  • Perform SQL queries, extracting information from databases without the need to consult the engineering team
  • Send requests to APIs
  • Perform abstractions and talk about solutions with techleads
  • Draw and suggest complex user workflows to engineering, taking into consideration the technical component options for delivering a feature (Gateways, databases, pods, queues, UIs, environments, etc).

    Seniority
  • Lead discovery to delivery of products and features to guarantee quality and requirement deliverables;
  • Maintain product backlog and roadmap organized in agreement of prioritizations;
  • Drive and contribute with solutions definitions mapped as platform to base product;
  • Drive communications and alignments with stakeholders.
  • Exercise  an indirect leadership within the squad;
  • Maintain and support  the product operational health with TL.
  • Ensure that all efforts are refined and planned to accommodate the priorities elected by the executive committee and the product evolution plan.
  • Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, do necessary tradeoffs to achieve the strategic company objectives, following the minimum friction philosophy
  • Recognize and prioritize efficiently the short, medium and long term needs of stakeholders
  • Cultivate the ability to communicate with internal and external clients to listen and communicate needs and priorities, in addition to identifying points for improvement;
  • Develop deep knowledge of agile methodologies
  • Discuss technical solutions with the TL
  • Teach product management principles and team processes to other PMs or engineers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Advanced English (speaking)
  • Experience as a Product Manager
  • Experience with financial market
  • Experience working in debt recovery
  • Knowledge in rest api (can do requests through application such as Postman)
  • Experience with SQL queries
  • Experience in agile methodology
  • Knowledge in Financial Math
  • Knowledge in Microservices and events architecture
  • Desirable experience in revolving credit card product and cards market
  • Desirable previous experience as a developer (will help with the TL discussions)
  • Desirable Revolving Credit Product outside Brazil.
