Card Issuing: A fully featured platform for Visa, Mastercard, or private level issuing of credit and prepaid cards. Pismo’s platform allows its customers to control everything from client acquisition to account management.
Digital Banking & Wallets: Pismo provides a transaction banking core for modern digital banking experiences, from easy client acquisition to enriched cash-in / cash-out operations and internal transfers / P2P transactions.
Seller Management: From the onboarding to the daily management of each seller, Pismo’s platform runs a workflow process with pertinent settlement and commercial parameters for each transaction, such as MDR, clearing rules, settlement requirements, and days to pay.

Summary

Production Engineering at Pismo is a diverse, dedicated and passionate team of engineers and leaders, responsible for providing the core infrastructure for Pismo’s growing product platform across the globe. We are guided by best practices based on testing, continuous integration, automation and reliability.

Within Production Engineering, the Platform squad primarily focusses on building, maintaining and improving Pismo's core infrastructure hosted in AWS - including Kubernetes clusters, networking (VPCs, public and private connectivity, DirectConnects and VPNs) and security maintenance.

Technological assistance for the other team members
Implement technology strategy and build projects
Proactive and driven approach to problem-solving
Skilled in automation to help the team to develop solutions and solve problems
Identifies and eliminates technical barriers before they become blockers
Ensures the squad meets quality, functionality and security standards
Handle production incidents during working-hours as part of a follow-the-sun rota

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with Public Cloud (AWS, all major services, including S3, EC2, ECS, EKS, R53)
Hands on experience with Containerisation (EKS/Kubernetes, Istio
Exposure of Cloud-Native Networking principles ( Transit Gateway, VPC Routing )
Must have good experience with Infrastructure as Code ( Terraform / Helm )
Experience with Public Cloud (AWS, all major services, including S3, EC2, ECS, EKS, R53)
Experience with Security (AWS Security Hub)
