Sr SW Engineer, Financial Accounting
Summary
The Financial Accounting Squad is responsible for processing events from our platform and custom them in processing reports, using cutting-edge technologies to deliver a high-scalable, secure, cost-effective and resilient financial services to the clients.
What you'll do
- Take ownership of writing efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code that aligns with the technical direction defined by the team.
- Lead the design and implementation of robust test strategies, ensuring high coverage of business logic and system reliability.
- Actively contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle — from technical planning and design to hands-on coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Drive continuous improvements in existing codebases through in-depth code reviews, mentoring, and engineering excellence.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to evolve best practices, engineering standards, and development methodologies that maximize team efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure system stability and performance through proactive monitoring, incident response, and participation in on-call rotations.

Minimum Qualifications
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English at B1 level (Intermediate)
Technical Skills:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with GoLang in production environments
- Proven experience designing, architecting, and developing high-availability, high-throughput systems using Java and GoLang
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, EventBridge, S3, Step Functions, and Lambda, building cloud-native, event-driven systems
- Strong background in microservices architecture, including cross-team governance and performance tuning
- Experience with both relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB) at scale
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) and Monitoring and observability tools
- Deep testing expertise across: Unit tests, Integration tests, Contract tests, chaos testing in distributed systems
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including: Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, Codefresh, ArgoCD
- Familiarity with architectural patterns, such as: CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation), Event Sourcing, Saga pattern for managing distributed transactions
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization strategies and application performance profiling
