Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular cadence of 1:1s and skip levels with each team member to recap performance, identify improvement opportunities and support career development (12%)
- Consult and support the maintenance, development, vision, and strategy of data technology tools and infrastructure of APAC data operations (10%)
- Develop and spearhead APAC, and data integration & strategy teams’ vision and accountable for driving strategic initiatives related to those teams (8%)
- Lead execution on Greater China workflow migration to Mumbai, ensuring smooth transition plans, roadmaps, and communication between Seattle and Mumbai stakeholders (8%)
- Lead cross departmental initiatives related to data integrations & strategy, liaison between product managers in product departments and dataset/process owners in Data Operations to execute on data expansion and quality improvement initiatives (8%)
- Lead cross organizational initiatives related to data integration & strategy, consolidate and cross pollenate on overlapping resources and initiatives across parent company organizations (8%)
- Lead and champion data technology developments and improvements through analyzing efficacy of status quo technology stacks, collaborating with engineers/developers/product managers, and reviewing Generative AI use cases related to Data Operations (8%)
- Lead and own operational and dataset strategy through proper budgeting, forecasting, and staffing in collaboration with finance, accounting, and Data Operations leadership teams (5%)
- Evaluate and overcome program risks, anticipate next steps and potential obstacles, implement and manage changes and interventions around APAC data operations, and data integrations & strategy operations to ensure project goals are achieved (5%)
- Consult on the design and implementation of data integration strategies, ETL pipelines, and human in the loop processes (5%)
- Foster department culture, champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the department (3%)
- Coordinate cross departmental go to market efforts in APAC with Customer Success and Business Development teams, providing support to local APAC teams through analyzing data product gaps, competitive landscape, and communicating on data product success and opportunity areas (3%)
- Contribute and participate in bi-weekly Data Operations Leadership meetings to review department wide initiatives, people development, ELT updates, hiring and data quality (2%)
- Contribute and be a key leader in bi-weekly senior Data Operations Leadership meetings to review organizational and department-wide initiatives, people developments, ELT updates, hiring, and data initiatives (2%)
- Champion business case needs on expansion of data procurement and net new data acquisitions through pitching to executive leadership team, analyzing ROI with finance team, scoping technical requirements with engineering teams, and data validation with dataset owners (2%)
- Accountable for the monitoring of data integration vendors' performance, data quality control procedures, and troubleshooting and resolution of data quality issues in integration pipelines (2%)
- Lead recruiting and hiring efforts across APAC, and data integrations & strategy teams, including phone screens and on-site interviews (1%)
- Lead recruiting and hiring efforts across secondary Data Operations teams, including phone screens and on-site interviews (1%)
- Develop expansive market knowledge of all players within the APAC data providers’ market (1%)
- Develop expansive market knowledge of key vendors and service providers in all areas related to data integration and infrastructure (1%)
- Accountable for running and highlighting operational success and challenges during standardized bi-weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews around APAC data, and data integrations & strategy operations (1%)
- Support the identification and assessment of potential complex 3rd party data vendors and service providers to meet PitchBook's data integration needs (1%)
Skills and Qualifications:
- The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field, or foreign equivalent and 5 years of relevant operations experience in the Data Operations Senior Manager, Data Operations Manager, Data Operations Team Lead, Senior Data Operations Associate, Data Operations Intern, or related position.
- In addition, the following skills are required: 4 years of experience with reading and processing financial filings; 4 years of experience with researching private and public companies; 4 years of experience with data analysis using SQL and Python; 4 years of experience with program management and scrum planning; 3 years of experience with building backend API services using Python and docker; 3 years of experience with web scraping using Python and web automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright; 3 years of experience with operations, and process management; 3 years of experience with operational reporting to executive leaderships utilizing PowerBI, Excel, SQL, and Python; 3 years of experience with hiring process including phone screens, project assessments, and on-site interviews; 3 years of experience with conducting competitive benchmark analysis against other data providers; 3 years of experience as a people manager of data focused teams, responsible for the success and career development of direct reports; 2 years of experience with strategic planning, including workflow forecasting, management, and budgeting; 2 years of experience with data engineering, including ETL pipelines; 2 years of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS).

- *** This position supervises 4+ direct reports (Data Operations Team Leads & Dataset Lead, Integrations) with a total of 15+ employees on the org chart.

Compensation
- Annual base salary: $197,309-$197,309
- Target annual bonus percentage: 15%
Working Conditions:
We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 5 days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
