Enterprise Business Development Representative

The Role:

We're looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to to join our team in Seattle. As a BDR, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying enterprise-level prospects. You'll be a key part of our sales team, working to expand our footprint within the advertising and media industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities through inbound and outbound prospecting
  • Research potential customers, develop outreach strategies, and create targeted campaigns to engage prospects
  • Work closely with the sales team to build a robust pipeline and ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, activities, and opportunities in our CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute campaigns and refine outreach approaches
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to position Placements.io effectively
  • Participate in product training to understand our value proposition and communicate it to potential customers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role, preferably within a SaaS or tech environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships and identify opportunities
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with an eagerness to learn and grow
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
  • Strong research skills with the ability to identify potential prospects and understand their business needs
  • A passion for sales and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with the advertising, media, or technology industries is a plus

Compensation:

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected base salary range for this role in the selected city:

Seattle, WA - $70,000 - $85,000 USD

The base salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, work location, and other business and organizational needs.
