Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Manager of Quality Assurance (QA) to lead our global QA team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our software products maintain the highest standards of quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams, driving QA strategies, and overseeing both manual and automated testing. This is a hybrid role that requires flexibility and adaptability in working across distributed teams and office environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of QA engineers, ensuring effective collaboration across different regions and time zones.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA processes, including both manual and automated testing strategies.
  • Oversee the design, development, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product functionality, scalability, and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to identify testing needs and ensure quality is prioritized at every stage of development.
  • Utilize automated testing tools to improve testing efficiency, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Track and report key QA metrics, identify trends, and implement improvements in processes to enhance product quality.
  • Manage the QA team’s workload, priorities, and deliverables to meet project timelines and objectives.
  • Advocate for best practices in software testing, driving a culture of continuous improvement in quality assurance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and ensure seamless product releases.
  • Manage the QA budget and resources, ensuring efficient use of tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role managing global teams.
  • Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing, including the use of tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Proven track record of implementing QA processes in a SaaS environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Experience in managing QA for global teams, with the ability to work across different time zones and cultures.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a detail-oriented approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to balance short-term project needs with long-term strategic goals.

Compensation:

The total annual remuneration (including salary, bonus and other benefits) range for this role is $2 - $3 MM TWD, depending on the candidate’s capabilities and experiences.
