Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This generalist role will focus on two primary responsibilities: coordinating industry events, including conferences and trade shows, and managing our social media presence. The individual in this role will report directly to the Head of Marketing and work closely with the CMO, Head of Sales, and Head of Design as necessary. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful, hands-on marketer who thrives on turning challenges into creative opportunities and takes pride in seeing projects through from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination (50%):
- Plan, organize, and execute Planera’s presence at 10-12 industry conferences and trade shows annually.
- Plan and execute webinars (estimated quarterly).
- Support sales staff with occasional field events, e.g. golf tournament sponsorships.
- Manage logistics, including booth setup, materials, shipping, and staffing.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure messaging aligns with event goals.
- Track and report event metrics to evaluate success and ROI.
- Social Media Management (30%):
- Create and schedule engaging content using Canva and/or Figma.
- Develop campaigns that amplify key messages, product updates, and thought leadership.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to inform strategy and optimize performance.
- General Marketing Support (20%):
- Assist with the creation of marketing content, including coordinating customer interviews or testimonials, presentations, and email campaigns.
- Support lead generation efforts through targeted campaigns and follow-up strategies.
- Maintain an organized library of assets for use across marketing initiatives.

Travel: Occasional travel within the US may be required.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, event planning, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with social media platforms and analytics tools, including hubspot and salesforce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with construction tech or SaaS is a huge plus but not required.
- This is a remote position, and we are hiring within the US and Canada currently.
