Planet is a global company with employees working remotely world wide and joining us from offices in San Francisco, Washington DC, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, and The Netherlands.
About the Role:
The Working Student will join our dynamic Marketing team to support the planning and execution of marketing activities in the region. This person will collaborate with a broad range of Planet stakeholders, including sales, customer success, creative resources, and vendors to deliver high-quality content-rich experiences that lead to awareness, pipeline and revenue for Planet.
Impact You’ll Own:
- Assist in implementing regional marketing strategies in the European, African and Middle East, actively participating in activities to generate leads and boost awareness of Planet's offerings
- Collaborate with various teams within marketing (COMS, VizDev, Design, Product Mkt, Industry Mkt) and external departments within the broader Sales team (Customer Success, Partner Channel, External Customers & Partners) to help organize and execute marketing activities, such as assets, events and campaigns
- Support event and webinar organization including completing pre-work to ensure the right accounts are targeted, email campaign creation, and post-event activities (e.g., attendee follow up and lead lists uploads)
- Support content creation for event promotions, email communications, and marketing materials, ensuring alignment with sales enablement and brand messaging
- Work 1:1 with the Regional Marketing Lead and team to ensure consistency with overall marketing strategies
What You Bring:
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to ask questions, learn and support the Planet Marketing team
- Interest in webinars, events, customer & partner stories, digital campaigns, and marketing strategy
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in planning and research
- Experience with Google Drive (Marketo a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented, proactive in thinking things through
- Comfortable with supporting multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German
