  • Validate and refine modeling assumptions in close partnership with Missions & Systems  teams to ensure the accuracy and reliability of feasibility studies and capacity forecasts
  • Design and maintain internal tools and visualization with Missions to streamline and optimize capacity planning, enabling proactive sales support and successful commercial execution
  • Collaborate tightly with Tasking and Ordering PM to ensure the backend system architecture and functionality seamlessly support evolving customer offerings and product capabilities of tasking systems

What You Bring:

  • 6+ years of product management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience in capacity forecast demand, and the ability to handle dynamic capacity utilization (for example, transportation or logistics workflows)
  • Experience evaluating algorithms and models (such as mathematical programming and heuristics) that automate complex scheduling decisions;  what to collect, where to aim, and when to execute to minimize operational cost and maximize order fulfillment
  • Experience maximizing the productive output (the number of high quality images) from the limited resource (the satellite), while effectively minimizing waste (like unsuccessful tasks or images obscured by cloud cover)
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in a rapidly evolving environment
  • Track record of effectively collaborating with Missions and Operations  teams to deliver results
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Outstanding written and spoken communication skills and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
  • Ability to travel 5% of the year domestically or internationally

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
