Job Description

We are looking for seasoned account executives who are driven, eager, and experienced in building pipelines and closing deals. As one of the earliest GTM hires at Plantiful, you will play a significant role in forming the company sales culture, which we intend to make a fantastic place to work! 

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Creating and driving the complete sales cycle from prospecting to demoing to closing deals. This includes working with various channels (e.g., cold calling, email, LinkedIn, industry events)
  • Work closely with the CEO and other Founding AEs to build a scalable and repeatable GTM playbook for new and developing strategies while continuing to execute our repeatable processes.
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales reporting and forecasting in Hubspot
  • Collaborate with our CEO and other Founding AEs to continuously improve our processes and ensure success for the whole team
  • Communicate with Company leadership to understand the latest industry trends and product-related feedback from prospects

This role is based in New York, NY and will be hybrid (Mon. - Wed. in office). It will also require occasional travel to industry events.

We are targing a Start Date of May 1 or May 15 if possible.

What We’re Looking For

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full-cycle sales experience in B2B sales 
  • Excitement towards innovating within one of the world’s oldest industries ripe for change
  • A founder’s mentality. You obsess over finding novel ways to hit goals—developing new sales experiments, iterating on scripts, and utilizing multi-channel touchpoints 
  • Ability to thrive with autonomy and ownership. As a pipeline owner, we’ll expect you to operate independently to hit your goals
  • Comfort learning rapidly, moving quickly, and following through on projects
  • Collaborative team player comfortable working with the founding team and fellow AEs to strengthen the team, GTM strategy, and product
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You’ll regularly communicate directly with potential clients and across our cross-functional teams 
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Compensation

  • $100K - $140K OTE (commissions are uncapped)
  • Equity compensation
