
Senior IFRS Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of monthly and quarterly financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards (including disclosures).
- Provide detailed financial reports to investors, addressing any inquiries and maintaining effective communication.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure financial data is accurate and timely.
- Support the accounting, planning and risk teams in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external purposes.
- Use Oracle Netsuite ERP to manage financial data and streamline accounting processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Assist in the coordination and completion of audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
- Maintain a strong understanding of financial reporting trends and developments related to IFRS.
- Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Licenciatura en Contaduría) or a related field.
- Proven experience in IFRS accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with ERP.
- Experience in preparing financial statements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of internal core banking systems is a plus.
