Acquirer Processing Team:

Our team oversees the creation and ongoing management of an essential platform dedicated to ATM, online and offline acquiring, executing transaction processing, and engaging with domestic and worldwide payment networks.

Challenges that await you:

  • Lead and build a team: People management, hiring, task planning, decomposition, and continuous improvement of team processes. Ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams within the cards & payments processing ecosystem
  • Backend architecture and development: Participate in the design and development of backend services, focusing on the complexities of card processing systems, payment gateways, and secure transaction workflows
  • Product contributions: Enhance and expand functionality through innovative solutions. Solve complex problems related to card transaction processing, including performance optimization, security, and compliance. Regularly review code and ensure best practices in highly regulated financial environments
  • Technical leadership: Act as a role model for the team, offering strong technical guidance and mentorship to help your team grow in the specialized domain of card processing and high-scale payment systems

What makes you a great fit:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience: Proven experience leading engineering teams (3-5 engineers), including hiring, performance management, and overseeing delivery in a fintech or payment processing environment
  • 3+ years of development experience: Extensive experience in backend development or system analysis with a focus on card processing systems, transaction lifecycle management, and security protocols
  • Deep knowledge of card processing architecture: Especially acquirer-side, authorization and transaction processing, single message, tokenization, cryptography
  • Expertise in global standards: Solid understanding of ISO 8583, Mastercard authorization and clearing specifications, EMV Chip, EMV 3DS, and PCI DSS standards
  • Experience with simulators and certification: Hands-on experience using Mastercard authorization and clearing simulators (MAS & MCPS) and managing certification processes
  • Production experience: Expertise in designing and deploying scalable, distributed systems that handle high volumes of financial transactions securely and efficiently
  • Domain knowledge: Deep understanding of high-load architectures, latency minimization, and transaction throughput in card processing systems
  • Strong collaboration skills: Ability to work closely on projects with payment networks, service providers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations across the card processing value chain
  • Curiosity and adaptability: Willingness to learn new industry trends, adapt to evolving card processing standards, and continuously improve
  • B1 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team
