Plata is a digital financial services and technology company that aims to become the primary financial relationship of Mexican consumers and to reward their financial life through inclusion, simplicity, convenience, trust, and security.

Looking for a mid-senior level analyst. We look for a professional specialized in process documentation, preferably in the banking or financial entities sectors. Desirably with experience documenting credit origination or money markets processes. Quantitative background is also desirable: process engineering, financial management or similar.

 Responsibilities

• Conduct Interviews with responsible individuals for different risk-management processes, to understand and document the associated procedures.
• Develop a working understanding of our processes and an understanding of basic risks to support identification to include in documents.
• Develop a basic understanding of the different methodologies for process standardization (e.g. ISO, Basel Operational Risk Standards, etc.)

Requirements

• High English proficiency.
• At least basic knowledge of credit evaluation tools and processes used by fintechs and digital banks is a strong plus.
• Experience in gathering processes’ information through interviews with owners and stakeholders, developing workflows, writing policies and procedures with emphasis in credit processes or credit departments. Desirably 2-3 years experience in such roles.
