About the Role

Platform Science is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Data Streaming Platform team. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow their career in DevOps, working on standardizing and improving how data flows across our systems. The role focuses on ensuring platform stability and supporting the implementation and maintenance of the technologies that power our data streaming infrastructure.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain Kafka and RabbitMQ clusters to ensure they remain scalable, secure, and compliant.
• Guide teams on best practices for streaming data between systems.
• Automate and implement essential systems to improve reliability and efficiency.

Experience

• Required experience
• Linux
• Basic Kubernetes
• Basic Terraform
• Practical experience with any programming language
• Experience with any Major Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Advanced/Fluent speaking skills in English
• Will be considered a plus
• Experience as a Developer or as an Administrator of Kafka Clusters
• Experience with RabbitMQ
• Kubernetes certifications
• Major Cloud certifications
