Principal Salesforce Consultant | Financial Services

The Salesforce Principal Consultant is a senior leadership role within the Delivery team. You will drive solution design, guide clients through strategic planning, and enable your team to deliver exceptional outcomes. This position requires deep Salesforce expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead both clients and internal teams through complex transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead solution design and technical discovery sessions for enterprise-level projects, acting as the primary Architect-leaning lead.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on what is technically feasible versus what is not recommended based on platform best practices.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear technical blueprints, ensuring solutions are scalable and align with long-term digital transformation goals.
  • Lead workshops and provide thought leadership across Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds, ensuring architecture aligns with compliance and security requirements.
  • Partner closely with developers and engineering teams to guide integrations and customizations (without performing the coding yourself).
  • Support pre-sales efforts by providing strategic input and accurate level-of-effort estimates for complex technical customizations.
  • Drive client-facing technical conversations and lead difficult discussions with executive stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Coach and mentor team members across functional and technical areas; contribute to internal enablement assets and industry process blueprints.

Required Expertise:

  • Recognized functional functional and technical knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce FSC (Financial Services Cloud), specifically within wealth and asset management.
  • Advanced skills in declarative automation, reporting, and complex system configurations.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, including APIs, data flows, and middleware (iPaaS) platforms.
  • Expertise in planning complex data migrations and designing point-to-point integrations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical discussions
