Senior NetSuite Consultant | Manufacturing
As a NetSuite Consultant at Plative, you will be the primary functional lead for clients in the Manufacturing and Wholesale Distribution sectors. You will own the project lifecycle—from discovery and design to configuration and UAT—ensuring that complex production processes are translated into scalable NetSuite solutions. This is a high-impact role requiring the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment focused on operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate client discovery sessions to map manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution requirements to NetSuite leading practices.
- Own end-to-end implementation and execute full-scale configurations, including complex business logic, custom work order workflows, and manufacturing-specific scripting requirements.
- Act as the subject matter expert for advanced production processes, including BOM Management, Shop Floor Control, WIP & Routing, and MRP.
- Guide clients on industry-leading practices for Demand Planning, Landed Costs, Supply Chain Control Tower, and inventory valuation methods.
- Identify and communicate project limitations or architectural risks early; work closely with Architects to address constraints in complex manufacturing builds.
- Design and lead internal QA processes and guide client User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system stability, production accuracy, and data integrity.
- Delegate tasks to analysts and guide their development to ensure high-quality project deliverables and growth in the manufacturing vertical.
- Proactively manage scope, budget, and technical dependencies in collaboration with the Project Management team.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience implementing NetSuite, with a heavy focus on Manufacturing and Wholesale Distribution verticals.
- Strong understanding of NetSuite core configuration, including complex business logic and SuiteFlow.
- Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
- Proficient in spreadsheet-level data transformations and data migration (CSV imports).
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate technical manufacturing jargon into executive-level business insights.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or IT) or equivalent experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant or SuiteFoundation certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience implementing Advanced Manufacturing, Work Orders & Assemblies, WIP & Routings, MRP, and Manufacturing Mobile.
- Experience with NetSuite WMS, Ship Central, or 3rd-party integrations (e.g., RF-Smart, ShipStation, Pacejet).
- Experience with NetSuite QMS (Quality Management System) and lot/serial traceability is a significant plus.
- Deep understanding of the Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Plan to Produce cycles.
- Experience using Jira for task management and Google Workspace for collaboration.
