Principal NetSuite Developer

As a Principal Developer, you will lead solution architecture for enterprise-level deployments, drive pre-sales scoping, oversee complex integration ecosystems, and establish engineering best practices. Operating with high autonomy, you will also act as a technical leader including: mentoring junior developers, conducting rigorous code reviews, and ensuring the absolute stability of our environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and lead development teams for complex, enterprise-level NetSuite solutions, focusing heavily on the Manufacturing module, SuiteBilling, CPQ customizations, and e-commerce integrations.
• Function as the ultimate coding and declarative automation expert across projects, refactoring and redesigning legacy configuration/codebases for optimal performance and scalability.
• Architect and oversee point-to-point and middleware integrations. Drive the implementation of Boomi and NetSuite Integration Platform (NSIP).
• Create the strategy and execute highly complex data migration initiatives. Continuously measure and troubleshoot application performance across diverse customer environments.
• Define, implement, and maintain modern DevOps solutions and Git repository best practices across NetSuite workstreams.
• Partner closely with Delivery Leadership and pre-sales teams to scope custom project deliverables, validate solution viability, and provide accurate Levels of Effort (LoE) for intricate customizations.
• Facilitate strategic roadmapping and prioritization sessions with client stakeholders, translating complex business needs into elegant technical and functional requirements.
• Lead technically challenging conversations with clients, providing executive-level confidence regarding platform capabilities and updates.
• Actively mentor junior technical resources, conduct code reviews for contractors and full-time staff, and foster a culture of technical excellence.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of dedicated technical NetSuite ERP and OneWorld experience.
• Expert-level mastery of SuiteScript (1.0, 2.0, & 2.1) and SuiteQueries, SDF CLI.
• Proven, deep technical experience with Boomi (highly required) and/or NetSuite Integration Platform (NSIP).
• Extensive background utilizing Git repositories, DevOps automation frameworks, and managing heavy data migrations.
• Strong client-facing background with explicit experience in pre-sales scoping, architecture discovery sessions, and leading technical project teams.
• Proven ability to work independently, single-handedly troubleshooting complex codebases and providing coverage across North American time zones.

Desired Qualifications:

• NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Certification, NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification, or NetSuite Certified Enterprise Architect.
• Direct experience with Manufacturing, Suitebilling Complex Customisation 
• Direct experience with Field Service Management (FSM) is a massive plus.
• Proficiency in modern technical stacks including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, REST/SOAP Web Services, GraphQL APIs and data formats (SQL, XML, JSON).
• Active familiarity with utilizing AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) on a day-to-day basis to enhance development workflows.
• College or University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
