Senior Salesforce Director | Delivery
The Senior Director, Delivery owns the strategic, financial, and organizational performance of Plative’s delivery team spanning FINS, CBS, TMT, and Nonprofit, each led by a Delivery Director. The Senior Director is accountable for enterprise P&L performance, service portfolio direction, AI-enabled methodology, and the development of front-line leaders into second and third-line leaders.
This role requires a significant step change in organizational agility, strategic ownership, company-level influence, and external market leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Portfolio, GTM & Board-Level Advisory
- Own delivery performance, quality, financial results, client satisfaction, and team health for the Salesforce practice.
- Align with the CRO and Sales Leadership on building and executing new GTM strategies and creating new IP, services, and products for potential clients.
- Plan the financial model, messaging, and resource plans for new service offerings.
- Ensure presales artifacts, scoping methodologies, and demos align with delivery methodology, are high-quality, and are deployed consistently across all LoBs.
- Lead practice-level go-to-market planning to achieve Plative’s bookings and revenue targets.
- Build and maintain board,C-suite, and private equity operating partner relationships across Plative’s most strategic accounts and relationships.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Salesforce partners, private equity firms, and contractors. For some of them, the buck stops with you.
- Support Plative’s industry influence through thought leadership, keynotes, publications, and strategic partnerships.
Leading Directors & Building the Delivery Leadership Organization
- Manage a team of Directors, each owning a vertical pod.
- Coach Directors to lead their businesses with a commercial mindset, customer focus, and high delivery quality.
- Lead succession planning, growth, and retention plans for delivery personnel.
- Shape Plative’s Salesforce delivery culture. Build the values, norms, and identity that drive high performance and retention.
- Partner with the People team, CEO, and CFO on compensation frameworks, career architecture, and talent programs.
Delivery and Financial Excellence
- Ensure Plative is well-positioned to adapt to changing markets and customer requirements.
- Ensure the financial model, resource mix, and services mix create a self-sustaining delivery business at scale.
- Own delivery P&L across Salesforce delivery including margin, utilization, and investment discipline.
- Mitigate non-billable hours and help Directors and ADs address underlying structural issues.
- Establish the staffing and hiring framework to hit targets across all pods.
- Set and monitor adherence to Plative’s methodology and plan for AI-native delivery standards.
- Align with Plative leadership to co-create and execute on the company vision.
Qualifications
Required
- AI-Native. You are a tinkerer. You are experienced with Claude Code, Codex, or similar and you can walk us through your latest customizations whether that be MCPs you’ve set up, skills you’ve created, or applications you’ve built.
- 10+ years of experience in consulting leadership at a Salesforce Summit-tier partner.
- 3+ years of experience as a 3rd line or above leader, with a track record of leading Directors or other senior leaders.
- Experience co-owning company-level GTM strategy and revenue targets with Sales or CRO-level leadership.
- Strong financial architecture skills ability to design, manage, and improve an enterprise delivery business model.
- Recognized external presence in target markets through thought leadership, events, or strategic partnerships.
Preferred
- Experience managing senior delivery leadership across more than one vertical or line of business at a Salesforce Summit Partner.
- Track record of servicing and growing a $30M+ service portfolio.
- Strategic alliances with Salesforce ecosystem partners or private equity firms.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize AI in delivery methodology that becomes widely adopted.
