Senior Salesforce Consultant | Nonprofit

As a Senior Salesforce Consultant at Plative, you will design, lead, and implement Salesforce solutions for a diverse range of Nonprofit clients. You will act as the primary technical lead and client-facing partner, uncovering business requirements, developing implementation strategies, and creating effective solutions to drive social impact. 

Beyond traditional delivery, you will be on the cutting edge of consulting by directly embedding AI capabilities, like Claude and Agentforce, into your daily configuration and client strategy to streamline builds and scale impact.

Responsibilities Include:

• Serve as the primary project lead for clients, running discovery sessions, building relationships, and managing end-to-end project delivery.
• Build, configure, and customize Salesforce core products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Flows) alongside third-party applications.
• Utilize VS Code, Salesforce CLI, and AI coding assistants (such as Claude Code) for backend configurations, fast-paced builds, system analyses, and field creation, while applying sound judgment to review and validate AI-generated changes prior to deployment.
• Develop and contribute to data migration, and system integration strategies for complex client environments.
• Guide testing approaches for internal quality assurance and client User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
• Partner closely with Delivery Managers, Developers, and Executives to raise project risks early and ensure seamless execution.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies, methodologies, and tools relevant to the nonprofit sector

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Salesforce consulting experience delivering complex client projects
• Hands-on experience configuring Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Flows
• Comfortable configuring and developing in Salesforce using VS Code, Salesforce CLI, and AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, with the technical judgment to validate AI-generated changes before deployment
• Ability to leverage VS Code, Salesforce CLI, and AI coding assistants like Claude Code to streamline configuration while ensuring solution accuracy before release.
• Strong English fluency with outstanding presentation, client-facing, and spoken communication skills; highly confident and proactive in client meetings. 
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the drive to independently experiment with new tools and navigate complex tech stacks. 

Desired Qualifications:

• Hands-on exposure to Agentforce or Agentforce Nonprofit Cloud. 
• Direct experience working on at least one project involving Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) or Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP). 
• Experience building reusable prompts or custom skills within Claude. 
• Salesforce Administrator (ADM201), Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, or related core certifications.
• Knowledge of core social sector concepts like grant management, program management, impact measurement, and fundraising.
