About this position

Manages a team of global compliance professionals to help accomplish department objectives by performing compliance investigations, internal audits, training, and other monitoring activities.  Establishes, maintains, and updates Compliance policies and procedures to ensure Ambassadors remain compliant.

What you'll do

  • You manage the day-to-day operations of the Compliance team.
  • Performs root-cause analysis of compliance issues identified by investigations, internal audits, or monitoring activities, and develops and implements corrective action plans to resolve potential vulnerability and risks.
  • Provides escalated reports and solutions to the VP, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Data Protection Office, promptly highlighting any areas of potential risk to the Company.
  • You Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures aligned with industry regulations and company objectives.  
  • Implements effective monitoring and surveillance programs to detect non-compliance activities and suggests improvements to existing programs.
  • Analyzes data to identify trends and patterns and develops targeted compliance initiatives.  
  • Assists with global policy management and creates country-specific addendums to global policies to address local compliance issues.
  • Establishes and manages protocols for maintaining paper and electronic records of compliance activities, including any complaints and investigations.  This includes ensuring consistent compliance standards for all locations and countries where Plexus conducts business.
  • Consistently monitors compliance landscape, including emerging trends and best practices among peer companies in direct selling for the US and within the countries in which Plexus operates.  
  • Makes recommendations to ensure current practices are applicable.
  • Ability to work off-hours with occasional evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

You should have

  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • You have Five years of related experience, with at least two years as a Manager and three years leading teams.
  • You collaborate with others and thrive in a team environment while meeting individual goals and expectations.
  • Ability to anticipate obstacles, communicate effectively, and plan accordingly.
  • Adept at providing solutions and working in cross-functional areas to facilitate the successful completion of projects.
  • You have demonstrated ability to contribute to the professional development of a team and provide innovative leadership.
  • Ability to bring high energy, remain positive in a dynamic organization, and lead high-performing teams. 
  • Values relationships can influence others to develop relationships reflected in continuously positive experiences.
  • Knowledge of Direct Selling regulations.
  • You have knowledge of cGMP regulations along with FDA regulations.
