
IT Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
Help Desk Support
- Respond to and resolve IT support requests from employees across all corporate departments and restaurant locations
- Log, update, and track all support tickets through resolution
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and in-person assistance
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members when appropriate
System Support & Maintenance
- Assist with maintaining information technology and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Support employees with software applications including Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
- Help with basic hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
- Assist with software installations and updates
Learning & Development
- Learn company POS systems and third-party restaurant software applications
- Develop understanding of network infrastructure and security protocols
- Participate in IT projects to gain hands-on experience
- Cross-train with team members in different specialization areas
User Support & Onboarding
- Assist with new employee technology setup and orientation
- Provide basic training on company systems and applications
- Support day-to-day technology needs across all departments
- Help maintain IT inventory and equipment tracking
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Location: Office, restaurant locations, and remote work capabilities. This role is based in our Austin office.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend/after-hours support
- Travel: Local travel to restaurant locations required; occasional overnight travel
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move computer equipment, work in various restaurant environments

Qualifications & Requirements:
Required:
- 0-2 years of experience in IT support or related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Customer service mindset with patience for end-user support
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems
- Restaurant or retail industry experience
- CompTIA A+ certification or willingness to pursue

Salary Description
$50,000-$65,000 per year, dependent on experience
