Key Responsibilities:

Microsoft 365 & Infrastructure Administration

  • Manage Microsoft 365 environment for 500+ users including user provisioning, licensing (F3/E3), SharePoint, Exchange, and security policies
  • Administer enterprise wireless and network infrastructure across 30+ restaurant locations
  • Manage firewall policies, VPN configurations, SD-WAN, and network security
  • Maintain network documentation including IP schemes, VLAN configurations, and network diagrams

Security & Systems Maintenance 

  • Implement and maintain endpoint security and device management solutions
  • Monitor security events and respond to potential security incidents
  • Oversee backup strategies and disaster recovery planning
  • Conduct periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Administer Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform
  • Manage Windows patch deployment and Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain services

Technical Leadership & Support

  • Serve as escalation point for Level 2/3 technical issues
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT support team
  • Collaborate with IT leadership on infrastructure planning and projects
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for improvements
  • Create and maintain IT documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
  • Support restaurant POS systems and third-party integrated applications as needed

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Location: Corporate Office in Austin with occasional visits to restaurant locations.
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday with occasional evening/weekend work for maintenance windows.
  • Travel: Minimal travel required; primarily local site visits in Central Texas area.
  • On-Call: Participate in rotation for after-hours infrastructure emergencies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Required:

  • 4-6 years of hands-on IT systems administration experience
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune)
  • Proven experience with enterprise network management (routing, switching, wireless, firewalls)
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management
  • Experience with endpoint management and security solutions
  • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
  • Understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and VPN technologies (IPSEC)
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies for multi-site connectivity
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues

Preferred:

  • Multi-location or distributed environment experience (retail, restaurant, or hospitality)
  • Experience with restaurant POS systems and integrated third-party applications
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance requirements (NIST, Zero Trust principles)
  • PowerShell or other scripting abilities for automation
  • Project management experience for IT infrastructure initiatives
  • Network or security certifications (CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft, or vendor-specific)

Salary Description:

$75,000 - $92,000 per year, dependent on experience
