Your Role

The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures across the company. This position will focus on the development of procedures, operational templates, the implementation of project management platform software, and the continuous improvement of operational processes.

The Operations Manager engages with internal project teams and staff at all levels in upholding PMA’s core value of ongoing learning, primarily focused on consistency, quality, and delivering value to our clients. 

Operational Management:
•    Develop and implement standardized templates and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all projects
•    Ensure compliance with operational processes and procedures through regular audits and reviews
•    Oversee the implementation and management of project management platform software to streamline operations and improve productivity
•    Monitor the effectiveness of internal and external processes and make necessary adjustments to enhance performance

Project Execution Compliance:
•    Oversee project activities to ensure adherence to the defined Scope of Services and PMA operating standards
•    Conduct intermittent compliance audits and communicate findings to stakeholders to ensure all project aspects are compliant and executed efficiently
•    Develop tools to track and report project execution compliance metrics

Innovation and Technology:
•    Lead and support innovation initiatives to drive operational efficiency and growth
•    Evaluate, test, and implement new technology solutions to improve operational processes
•    Provide technical training and support to employees on new software and technology tools

Training and Development:
•    Support the project management fundamentals training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees
•    Contribute to the onboarding process for new hires on operational procedures, ensuring a smooth integration into the company
•    Support the professional development of employees, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and opportunities
•    Develop and document processes and procedures to support training initiatives

Process Improvement:
•    Continuously analyze and improve business processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
•    Assist with process documentation and improvement initiatives
•    Support the development and documentation of processes and procedures

Stakeholder Communication:
•    Communicate operational strategies, progress, and issues to the Board, senior leadership team, and during monthly office and regional staff meetings
•    Provide operational support to project managers and other team members

Education and Experience•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Organizational Leadership, Management Information Systems, or related field
•    8+ years of project management experience
•    Proficiency Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, and Procore
•    Proficiency in utilizing web-based project management tools
•    Demonstrated experience utilizing generative AI to enhance project management efficiencies
•    Proven experience in operational management, process improvement, and compliance
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•    Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously


This position requires periodic travel as needed, including office visits and internal meetings.
