As a Data Engineer III, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we collect, transform, and store data to meet dynamic business needs. Your work will directly impact decision-making and empower teams with the tools and insights they need to succeed.
We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in data warehousing and modeling, expertise in dbt, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. What You’ll Be Doing
- Translate strategy into functional requirements and identify best practices to ensure these are implemented within the data products and systems across the team.
- Lead external data providers to determine how to integrate data into the existing environment and data model.
- Design highly scalable and extensible batch and real-time big data and cloud platforms which enables collection, storage, modeling, and analysis of massive data sets from numerous channels.
- Perform architecture design, data modeling.
- Develop prototypes and proof of concepts for the selected solutions and implement complex big data projects.
- Apply a creative mindset to a focus on collecting, parsing, managing, and automating data feedback loops in support of business innovation.
- Identify process and practice improvement opportunities, building business cases and influencing senior leaders to drive changes.
- Challenge existing business model paradigms to identify opportunities for growth.
- Efficiently communicate to stakeholders to manage expectations and project progress.
- Collaborate with end users for business analysis and process re-engineering to improve business processes.
- Collaborate with data engineers to update the data pipeline.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related field of study
- Three (3) years of experience in job offered or as Business Development Analyst, Operations Analyst or Officer, Business Analyst, or a related occupation
- In the alternative, a Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related field of study and one (1) year of experience in job offered or as Business Development Analyst, Operations Analyst or Officer, Business Analyst, or a related occupation.
