We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in data warehousing and modeling, expertise in dbt, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain complex data transformations and aggregations using SQL and dbt’s Jinja templating language.
  • Design and optimize data architectures to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Build and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, delivering data visualizations that drive actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business challenges, and deliver tailored data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across platforms to meet internal stakeholder needs.
  • Build and maintain data warehouse systems, ensuring accessibility and usability for analytics teams.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Work with both structured and unstructured data from various sources, making it accessible and meaningful.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in dbt, data engineering practices, and relevant technologies.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of building and optimizing data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Jinja within a dbt environment to develop, optimize, and manage data workflows.
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools to create clear, actionable insights.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Redshift or Snowflake for scalable data solutions.
  • Strong understanding of database design, data warehousing principles, and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for efficient and reliable deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of modern data engineering tools and frameworks, including Apache Spark, Airflow, or Kafka, to manage and process large datasets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and functions to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Familiarity with the digital marketing industry and its unique data challenges.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms such as AWS Certified Data Analytics or Snowflake Certification.
  • Experience implementing data security best practices, including encryption and access controls.
