If you resonate with our operating principles and are energized by our mission, Podium will be a great place for you!
This role will help to shape the future of our centralized (hub and spoke) analytics service model as part of a fast growing team and company. As a Sales Operations Analyst at Podium you will play a crucial role in shaping the analytical infrastructure that drives strategic decisions across our sales organization. Collaborating closely with sales leaders and cross-functional teams, you'll be instrumental in delivering insights and empowering data-driven strategies.
The Role
Your primary focus will be on enhancing and accelerating our GTM strategy through analytics within the Sales Strategy & Operations domain. This entails developing operational rigor, documenting key processes, crafting visualizations using our BI tool, Sigma, and conducting insightful ad hoc analyses to support and optimize sales performance.
In this role, you'll partner broadly across GTM functions and leverage your analytical expertise to translate business needs into actionable insights. Your responsibilities will also extend to mentoring and training team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and empowerment within the Revenue Operations and Analytics community.
This role is required to be in office 5 days per week in our Lehi HQ.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales, RevOps, and GTM leaders to uncover performance opportunities using data, translate business questions into analytical workstreams, and shape data-driven solutions that materially improve sales effectiveness.
- Build scalable analytical frameworks to evaluate and optimize end-to-end sales processes, using data to pinpoint friction, forecast impact, and guide prioritization of operational improvements.
- Own program-level analytics for GTM initiative, scoping requirements, managing data workstreams, defining KPIs, and delivering insight packages that drive alignment across cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate with Business Applications, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams to enhance CRM and upstream data quality; influence data model design, strengthen governance, improve enrichment logic, and ensure the sales org has reliable, decision-ready data.
- Maintain clear documentation on data sources, metric definitions, reporting logic, and operational workflows to support consistency, onboarding, and long-term scalability.
- Build, automate, and maintain dashboards and scorecards that track pipeline health, rep performance, segmentation, territory coverage, and GTM efficiency; proactively highlight trends, anomalies, and risks.
- Deliver concise, high-impact analyses using Excel/Sheets, SQL, and BI tools; translate findings into insights executives can act on.
- Design and publish visualizations and reporting for ad-hoc and strategic projects, ensuring clarity, precision, and strong narrative flow.
What You Should Have:
- 3-5 years of experience with data analytics, and technologies
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of turning ambiguous business problems into structured analyses and operational outcomes.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to connect disparate data points, identify patterns, and articulate the “so what” with confidence.
- Hands-on experience with Excel/Google Sheets; SQL or BI tool exposure is a plus (and eagerness to deepen technical skills is expected).
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems, including comfort investigating data issues and partnering with technical teams to resolve them.
- An instinct for process design and optimization—always looking for cleaner logic, better workflows, and fewer manual steps.
- High attention to detail, systems curiosity, and an ability to troubleshoot data and workflow inconsistencies.
