We are seeking a Partner Manager – Retail  (FAM/Jewelry) Partnerships to join our growing Partnerships team. This role is pivotal in managing and expanding relationships with key partners in the retail industry. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder, proactive in identifying opportunities, and operates with a results-driven mindset. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate cross-functionally to drive revenue growth and maximize the value of our partner ecosystem.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and Manage Partner Relationships: Own and nurture partnerships with key industry players to drive revenue growth and expand Podium’s presence in the Retail sector.
  • Identify and Negotiate New Partnerships: Continuously assess the market to identify new opportunities, structure agreements, and onboard new partners.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to ensure seamless partner integration and execution.
  • Strategic Growth Planning: Track partner performance, develop strategic growth initiatives, and optimize partnerships for long-term success.
  • Partner Enablement & Support: Provide ongoing training and resources to partners, ensuring they are well-equipped to advocate for Podium solutions.
  • Partner Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop co-branded campaigns, incentives, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Industry Knowledge & Competitive Insights: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor partnerships, and emerging opportunities in the FAM space.
  • Event & Travel Engagement: Represent Podium at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings (travel required 2-3 times per month).
  • Training & Field Enablement: Conduct training sessions for partner field teams to increase partner-driven referrals and engagement.

What you should have:

  • Experience: 5+ years in partnerships, business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the retail ( FAM and Jewelry) industry.
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to foster and maintain strategic partnerships with external organizations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to assess partner opportunities, craft growth strategies, and drive meaningful outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with internal teams to enable partner success and support broader company initiatives.
  • Self-Motivated & Results-Oriented: A proactive, high-energy individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of outcomes.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to present, negotiate, and engage with stakeholders at all levels, from small groups to large conferences.
  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, identifying roadblocks, and finding creative solutions to drive progress.

What we hope you have:

  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience working within the FAM or Jewelry industry or closely adjacent sectors.
  • Understanding of referral-based partnerships and co-marketing strategies.
  • Ability to analyze partnership performance metrics and use data to inform decision-making.
