The Role:

At Podium, the Developer Workflow team is dedicated to empowering engineers to move fast, build with confidence, and scale efficiently. We own the internal systems, tools, and infrastructure that shape the daily experience of developers — with a focus on eliminating friction, automating complexity, and unlocking engineering velocity.

As our engineering organization grows, we’re doubling down on AI-powered tooling to take our workflows to the next level.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Design and build AI-first internal tools that improve developer productivity, flow state, and code quality.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Platform Engineering and Product teams to identify developer pain points and prototype intelligent solutions.
  • Contribute to a culture of velocity: improving observability, reliability, and self-serve capabilities across the engineering org.
  • Stay up to date on the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem and evaluate new tools and frameworks for internal adoption.

What You Should Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong track record in backend or full-stack development.
  • Experience integrating or building with LLMs or AI-driven developer tools
  • Strong product and systems thinking — able to make architectural decisions with long-term impact.
  • Proven ability to lead projects from discovery through delivery, collaborating across engineering orgs.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Must be local and available to work in-office.

What We Hope You Have:

  • Deep familiarity with developer infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Prior experience designing and scaling internal tooling platforms or workflow automation systems.
