About the Role
The Marketing Strategy and Operations Lead will serve as a “Chief of Staff” to the EVP of Marketing, amplifying the effectiveness of the marketing team. They’ll work closely with the marketing team leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution, alignment, and strategy across our most critical go to market initiatives. This candidate will identify and lead high-impact initiatives, serve as connective tissue throughout the marketing team & cross functionally, and partner with EVP marketing to maximize impact throughout the org.
It is critical the Chief of Staff is aligned to our operating principles. This individual must be able to work in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment.
- Work directly with the marketing leadership & cross functional leaders to define & marketing priorities that align to company-wide objectives.
- Drive strategic planning and goal setting with team leaders. Track KPIs, share progress, plans, blockers & support to ensure effective execution.
- Lead critical marketing initiatives that require strategic leadership
- Develop scalable ways that increase connectivity, strategic alignment, cross functional & team knowledge sharing.
- Identify & develop high leverage, AI-native systems to increase operational efficiency and impact on marketing. Champion AI literacy and implement tactics to increase adoption.
- Manage marketing’s annual planning, revenue target setting, OKRs & QBRs & budgeting.
- Work with EVP to optimize and manage core team operating cadences — facilitating discussions on the right topics and managing follow-ups.
- Represent marketing cross functionally, ensuring clear communication, alignment on priorities, & collaboration to ensure initiatives are executed well.
- Form an independent point of view on what is required to achieve our marketing vision. Work with the marketing leadership team to understand potential gaps, define plans to address them, and ensure we execute on those plans.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is someone with 3-7+ years of total experience including experience in either business consulting (Bain, McKinsey, etc.), part of an internal strategy and/or operations, marketing strategy or product management team.

- Systems thinking and the ability to create new structures or processes, embracing AI & automation in workflows
- Pragmatic and logical in thinking and decision making
- Track record of driving operational efficiency and successfully executing strategic initiatives.
- Experience working with sales, CS, strategy, finance, and operations teams.
- Experience working in the SaaS or Technology industry with familiarity of go-to-market strategy and revenue operations a plus
- Excellent analytical skills. Ability to effectively tell a story with data.
- High degree of familiarity with how to utilize AI & automations to drive operational leverage is a must. Agent building know how a plus
