Job Description:
- Perform hands on software engineering and development activities on the company’s phone products that allows customers to make and receive calls. This also includes working with phones hardware, third party systems, and other products.
- Build, implement, and scale internal tooling and software infrastructure.
- Engineer and test software code at all stages of the development lifecycle.
- Use OpenAI and AI productivity tools to enhance efficiency with software development.
- Develop and implement a modern phone system that fits the needs for small- to medium-sized businesses.
- Create tools that customers and internal employees can use to better facilitate onboarding products.
- Provide code reviews for others on the team.
- Triage and resolve bugs reported by our support team.
- Assist in establishing coding standards.
- Design back-end and full-stack infrastructure.
- Develop algorithms, data structures, and code to enhance product user experience.
- Present demos to the leadership and within engineering department to share the knowledge and show technical progress on feature development.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related.
Requires 3 years of related experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills:
- Coding with Elixir and Liveview and at least one modern language such as Python, Go, Ruby, or related;
- Front end development and web programming using React and (TypeScript or JavaScript);
- Databases (Postgres, MySQL), APIs, and web infrastructure using AWS, Kafka;
- Coding with elixir applications using GraphQL, Phoenix, Ecto, Postgres, and ExUnit in micro-services architecture;
- Integrating fintech software products and using RabbitMQ message broker and Oban to handle message queuing;
- Monitoring tools and incident management tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, OpsGenie, Teraform, and using dev tools such as Gitlab; and
- Developing and implementing related software using domain specific hardware such as card readers, payment devices, Grandstream, and Yealink phones devices.
Work Location: 1650 W. Digital Drive, Lehi, UT 84043, telecommuting permitted. Reports to headquarters in Lehi, Utah.
Hours of work: Usually 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
