The Role:
We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to own the reliability, scalability, and connectivity of our core business systems. This role is anchored in Salesforce development and system integration, with a strong emphasis on monitoring, maintaining, and scaling the platforms that keep our business running. You’ll design and support secure, resilient integrations, but just as importantly, you’ll be responsible for keeping them healthy: setting reliability standards, strengthening CI/CD pipelines, and driving continuous improvement across the ecosystem. If you’re equally excited by building new solutions and making sure they stay rock solid at scale, this role is for you.
What you will be doing:
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems (ERP, billing, marketing automation, data warehouses, etc.).
- Develop and optimize Salesforce customizations, Lightning components, and automation (Apex, LWC, Flows).
- Monitor the health of integrations and platforms, implementing proactive alerting, job monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Ensure reliability, availability, and scalability of business-critical systems, meeting defined SLAs and reliability metrics.
- Own CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows for Salesforce and integration assets, ensuring smooth and safe deployments.
- Troubleshoot, support, and continuously improve integrations and system processes to reduce operational toil.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance system stability, performance, and developer efficiency.
What you should have:
- 3+ years of professional experience as an integration engineer, Salesforce developer, or platform engineer.
- Strong Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL).
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs and secure data transmission protocols (OAuth, HTTPS, SFTP, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring and alerting practices for system health and integrations.
- Familiarity with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Tray, etc.) and at least one full lifecycle implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to balance multiple projects with high attention to detail and accountability for reliability.
What we hope you have:
- MuleSoft Developer certification or proven MuleSoft project experience.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with systems like NetSuite, Snowflake, Stripe, SalesLoft, or Marketo.
- Familiarity with API-first design standards (RAML/OpenAPI).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools for Salesforce (Copado, Gearset).
Background in site reliability or platform operations with measurable reliability goals (SLIs/SLOs).
