Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Full Stack Engineer to help build and scale our AI Agent platform—a powerful system that autonomously interacts with customers, handling millions of conversations every month. In this role, you’ll design and deliver the software that enables local businesses to manage complex customer interactions automatically, book more appointments, and serve their customers more effectively across multiple channels (e.g., voice, SMS, chat).

What you will be doing

• Design and build full-stack features across Podium’s AI Agent platform.
• Collaborate closely with product and design to build incredible experiences, make architecture decisions, and help keep our systems running smoothly as we scale.
• Full ownership of features and systems that power it.

What you should have

• 4+ years of experience building production, delivering high-quality code and owning systems end-to-end.
• Experience with Elixir/Phoenix, or equivalent frameworks like Rails or Django.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc) — we love engineers who embrace new ways to move faster.
• Must be willing to work on site, 5 days per week.

What we hope you have

• Full-stack experience working with frameworks such as React.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, Kafka, GraphQL, or distributed systems.
• Experience at a fast-moving startup or SaaS company.
