Technical Lead, Macro Front Office Technology

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Technical Lead in Macro Front Office Technology at Point72, you will be responsible for overseeing the buildout of services, applications and workflows required to develop best-in-class analytics for the team’s stakeholders. The focus will be primarily on, but not limited to, analytics for P&L and risk. Specifically, you will:
• Design and oversee the technical implementation of critical data and computational platform components needed for the scalable production of P&L and risk analytics for new and existing financial products and integrate these into a range of downstream systems
• Design and oversee the technical implementation of architectures that will scale to support large numbers of workflows, and as required, integrate third-party components spanning vendor systems, cloud technology, and data engineering platforms
• Provide prompt support and a high level of service to all downstream consumers
• Proactively drive efficiency across Macro BAU processes to improve the overall quality and efficiency of daily technology operations

WHAT’S REQUIRED
We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer with strong coding abilities, rigorous mathematical problem-solving skills, and experience in P&L and risk systems or in another Front Office development capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in C#, SQL, and Python
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in finance, specifically in a P&L and risk systems or another Front Office development capacity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that can convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• A commitment to the highest ethical standards
