About the Corporate Accounting Internship
The Corporate Accounting internship at Point72 provides individuals interested in pursuing a career in accounting at an investment firm with valuable, hands-on experience. During the 10-week program based in our Singapore office, you will gain exposure to:
• Practice the application of accounting standards and principles
• Learn to think collaboratively and strategically to help the team manage risk, enhance processes, and solve problems
• Assist with month-end close tasks including regulatory reporting deliverables for Point72 management companies
• Collaborate with other teams including Legal, Tax, Facilities, Financial Planning & Analysis, Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Technology on recurring business processes and other ad-hoc projects
• Assist with reviewing journal entries (cash, prepaids, fixed assets, revenue, and expense accruals) and prepare the accompanying account reconciliations
• Assist with preparing monthly reporting packages including the preparation of forecasts
• Analyze accounting and operational results and brainstorm automation opportunities for routine process improvements
• Assist in documenting, implementing, and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
• Participate in training sessions focused on developing Excel, general ledger system, writing, and presentation skills

What’s required
• Expected bachelor’s degree or equivalent, between December 2025 – August 2026
• Demonstrated academic success as reflected in a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.0
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills
• An ability and willingness to conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity at all times
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
