Object Storage Lead SME

WHAT YOU’LL DO
•    Architect, implement, and manage the object store service across all business units
•    Guarantee the performance, reliability, and security of the object store infrastructure
•    Train and mentor junior members of the team
•    Proactively troubleshoot and resolve object store issues
•    Automate object storage onboarding processes
•    Enhance monitoring and alerting capabilities
•    Conduct regular performance testing and capacity planning
•    Partner with clients to seamlessly integrate and optimize object store workflows
•    Provide on-call coverage and Level 3 support
•    Develop comprehensive documentation and best practices for object store usage and maintenance

WHAT’S REQUIRED
•    At least 5 yrs of extensive experience with object storage technologies (Dell ECS, NetApp StorageGrid, AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage)
•    Experience with file (Isilon, NetApp) or block storage technologies (Dell PowerMax)  
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex storage issues.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to help foster effective collaboration
•    A commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in storage technologies
•    Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary range for this role is $240,000-$270,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
