What you’ll do

As an engineer in Treasury Technology at Point72, you’ll be responsible for building systems that help ensure firm’s liquidity, optimize cash flows and provide transparency to portfolio managers utilizing real-time analytics and complex reporting. You will focus on a wide range of applications spanning margin, financing and counterparty management. Specifically, you will:

• Collaborate with the team to design and build features within applications relying on large sets of financial data across all asset classes and firm business areas
• Integrate with Treasury Quant libraries and APIs to deliver precise calculations to end users
• Partner with end users to refine requirements and implement effective solutions to solve business problems
• Participate in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to drive standards. Contribute to architectural discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents to ensure seamless user experience
• Work closely with application support teams to enhance system observability

What’s required

We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer with strong coding abilities and analytical skills. Core technology stack is .NET 8.0/9.0, .NET Framework 4.8+, MS SQL Server, Docker containerization, ReactJs for front-end applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience engineering complex applications in C#/.NET
• Previous experience working with ReactJs and Python or a willingness to learn these technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Personal responsibility and ability to take ownership of work.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Preferred experience

• Previous experience building front-office systems and/or familiarity with the trade lifecycle, financing and margining is an advantage.
