What you’ll do

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mac Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Mac-based systems and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of Mac devices into our network and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the Mac user experience. Specifically, you will:

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Mac-based systems, applications, and services in an enterprise environment utilizing Jamf, InTune, and other standard Mac management tools.
• Ensure the security, stability, and performance of Mac infrastructure through regular monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Implement best practices for Mac device management, including software deployment, updates, and patch management.
• Collaborate with technology and support teams to solve complex technical issues related to Mac devices and integrations.
• Document designs, train support teams, and transition duties to L1 and L2 support.
• Conduct regular system audits and implement improvements and to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Stay up to date on latest Mac technologies and trends, making recommendations for adoption when appropriate.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to support and junior engineers.
• Ensure that the Mac updates are effectively communicated across all offices and geographies, adopting any necessary international requirements.
• Help develop a culture of collaboration and productivity by bringing new ideas to help our users be more collaborative and productive.
• Remain 100% aligned to firm compliance and security requirements.

 

 

What’s REQUIRED

 

• 7-10 years of experience with Mac implementations using Jamf, Intune, and other Mac management tools.
• Extensive experience in MacOS, MacOS Server, Jamf, and associated Apple products.
• Experience in scripting languages for automation tasks.
• The ability to develop meaningful documentation to communicate capabilities provided to users.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate user needs and wants into requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience deploying tools in an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Passion for the end user experience.
• Previous experience in the financial services industry.
• Minimal travel required to the Stamford, CT headquarters as well as other offices, both domestic and global, 1-2 times per year.
