What You’ll Do

• Serve as a strong business application support partner for our Global-Accounting, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Financial Planning and Analysis teams.
• Provide clear and concise support for configurations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and address support requests, such as end-user support, EIB loads, custom reports, dashboards, and troubleshooting, in alignment with agreed SLAs and support protocols.
• Execute ongoing system configuration changes, such as business processes, foundational data, and security model updates, and participate in the bi-weekly Agile sprint development process for new features and enhancements, adhering to SDLC methodology and Workday change management protocols.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, assist in technical design specifications, and configure, test, and deploy changes into production.
• Maintain and develop Workday documentation, including standard operating procedures, quick reference guides, and training materials for new system functionality and configurations.
• Partner with integration teams to ensure seamless connectivity between Workday and other systems like financial institutions, punch-out, and third party providers, maintaining and supporting all financial system integrations.
• Lead support triage and resolution efforts for the functional areas the team supports with an emphasis on quality and timely solutions. Optimize and automate business processes, focusing on financial, P2P, and security configurations to improve efficiency and data consistency across the organization.
• Identify areas for training, best practices, and automation opportunities to streamline operations and enhance system effectiveness.
• Expand and deploy your creativity and problem-solving capabilities with Workday Extend.

What Is Required

• 3-6 years of Workday FIN experience, with hands-on expertise in Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning configurations.
• Detailed knowledge of Workday Financials functional areas, including: accounting, fixed assets, procure-to-pay, planning, and integrations with external financial systems & providers.
• Strong understanding of Workday Security, including role-based access, domain security policies, and user access management.
• Hands-on experience with Workday add-on modules such as Strategic Sourcing, Accounting Center, PRISM, Contracts, Projects, etc.
• Skilled in report writing (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and EIB uploads to optimize and automate business processes.
• Proven ability to interview business users, gather and interpret requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
