Point72’s Asia Trading team is comprised of long/short equity and derivatives execution traders who support the firm’s multi-manager platform of investment professionals. ABOUT THE Asia Trading INTERNSHIP

If you are interested in pursuing a career in Trading, this 12-week summer internship will provide you with valuable experience at a complex global firm. During the internship, you will help support our Asia Trading team and gain exposure to:

 

  • Assisting with booking trades
  • Conducting industry and company specific research
  • Providing market updates, news, and fund flow summaries
  • Monitoring market shifts to inform the rest of the team
  • Identifying potential risk areas and working to prevent trade or operational errors
  • Monitoring price movement, volume, and trading flows
  • Point72’s ethical decision-making approach

 

SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT POINT72

In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will:  

  • Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals 
  • Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events 
  • Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths 
  • Get hands-on access to the wealth of tools and resources that Point72 employees use everyday
  • Interact with groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry
  • Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills
  • Participate in networking opportunities across the firm

 

WHAT'S REQUIRED

  • Expected degree from Dec 2026 to August 2027
  • Demonstrated academic success as reflected in a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2
  • Knowledge of trading trends and products
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team
  • Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity at all times
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards
