About the Role: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Workday HR Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and enhancing our Workday platform to improve HR processes, data integrity, and user experience. This role acts as a liaison between HR, IT, and other business units to ensure Workday supports our organizational goals efficiently and securely.

Day to Day:

  • Administer and maintain the Workday HCM system, including modules such as Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Performance.
  • Support configuration and maintenance of business processes, security roles, notifications, and workflows in Workday. Monitor workflows to proactively identify and target issues. 
  • Act as the first point of contact for Workday system issues, enhancements, and inquiries from HR and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain data integrity by auditing, reconciling, and validating employee information across systems. 
  • Collaborate with HR teams to develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to support business needs and decision-making.
  • Manage and support Workday releases and updates, including testing new functionality and communicating system changes.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and support to HR staff and employees.
  • Work with IT and external vendors on system integrations and troubleshooting data flow issues between Workday and other platforms.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects related to HR technology and process improvement.
  • May require occasional after-hours support during system upgrades or critical incidents.

What you bring to the table: 

  • 2+ years of experience administering Workday HCM in a corporate environment.
  • Experience administering Workday's compensation and performance modules. 
  • Workday experience is a small to medium sized company (100-1000)
  • Solid understanding of HR business processes and best practices.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Workday business processes and security roles.
  • Experience with downstream integrations between Workday and Greenhouse/Okta. 

It would be great if you also had:

  • Workday Pro certification or Workday Partner experience.
  • Experience with Workday reporting tools (e.g., custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards).

Pay range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 and will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location
