Digital Marketing Strategist

Poka’s Digital Marketing Strategist is a critical member of the demand generation team with responsibility for driving results across web and SEO, while keeping LLMs front and center. 

Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, this team member will develop the company’s digital presence and work closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to help achieve company goals. The ideal candidate will use data driven decisions to plan, execute, analyze, and optimize programs that drive traffic to the corporate website, and increase engagement and conversion of website visitors.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Lead the strategy, execution, and continuous optimization of website and SEO programs to drive qualified traffic, engagement, and conversions, with LLMs front and center, to capitalize on its opportunities and mitigate its impact.
  • Develop and implement technical SEO strategies, including site architecture, schema, page speed, and core web vitals.
  • Partner with the content team to guide SEO-informed content strategy, ensuring content is optimized for both human readers and AI-driven search experiences.
  • Manage the website as a product, building and maintaining a roadmap for enhancements, optimizations, and new features based on performance data and customer feedback.
  • Drive improvements in site navigation, UX, and storytelling to support brand positioning and maximize conversion opportunities across the funnel.
  • Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives including A/B testing, personalization, and funnel analysis to improve pipeline velocity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, sales, and demand generation teams to ensure web and SEO strategies are aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, translating insights into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in SEO, website performance, and AI-driven search to ensure the company’s digital presence is innovative and competitive.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools for SEO optimization, site analysis, personalization, and content recommendations.

What you bring to the table:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEO and website strategy within B2B enterprise software or B2B SaaS.
  • Proven track record of driving organic growth through advanced SEO tactics, technical SEO execution, and content alignment.
  • Strong experience managing websites as a product, including roadmaps, stakeholder input, and iterative improvements.
  • Deep understanding of core web vitals, technical audits, and site optimization practices.
  • Experience with conversion optimization frameworks, A/B testing tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Deep proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., BrightEdge, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console), web analytics (Google Analytics GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar), and testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO).
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Craft, WordPress, Drupal, HubSpot CMS) and website governance processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate technical detail into business impact.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a bias for testing, learning, and scaling best practices.
