- Job Title: Associate Product Marketing Manager
- Job Summary: The Associate Product Marketing Manager, Video Games, will be supporting the execution of various marketing programs that support key video game products and campaigns. This role will assist the Manager, Product Marketing (Video games) with the creation and sharing of product-specific marketing plans, assets, guidelines, and approvals with external and internal partners.

What you’ll do
- Assist in the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for product initiatives by partnering with various internal and external partners.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the Pokémon brand and product-specific asset usage guidelines to help facilitate brand reviews.
- Manage marketing calendars and ensure milestones are up to date and communicated to .
- Collaborate with PR, social, CRM, digital and US marketing teams on the coordination of global marketing campaigns,
- Become a product expert and assist in onsite and offsite presentations and event activations for key marketing initiatives.
- Know your customers and market so intimately that you define and communicate a clear, differentiated, defensible, and monetizable market position.
- Prepare and deliver marketing performance reports and recaps as needed.
- Conduct project reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements.
What you’ll bring
- Three (3) to four (4) years or more of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise (video game marketing preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
- Excellent analytical with the ability to read data and find trends that can help drive marketing directions.
- The ability to work across teams and communicate marketing goals/results at a team, executive, and company level.
- Experience working with agencies and external partners to execute marketing initiatives, particularly international partners
- Proven knowledge in defining and executing a short and long go-to-market strategy.
- Familiarity with audience segmentation data to drive decisions and content direction.
- Demonstrated experience in driving effective marketing strategies leading to customer satisfaction and product adoption.
- Proven problem solver, able to discern the crux of an issue, and use good judgment in recommending practical solutions.
- Strong ability to support project planning and execution, including scheduling, communication, and status reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.
- While passion for the Pokémon brand is a plus it is not required, however knowledge of and a willingness to learn more about the brand is a must.
- A solid understanding of the Japanese language, business culture, customs, and practices a strong plus
Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $84,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. The full range is $84,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
