- Job Title: The Regional Director, LATAM
- Job Summary: The Regional Director, LATAM is a key leadership role responsible for driving strategic growth and expanding The Pokémon Company International’s (TPCi) brand presence across Latin America. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to scale regional operations, strengthen retail partnerships, and deliver culturally relevant brand experiences. You will oversee the regional sales office in Mexico City and lead the sales function across LATAM, driving engagement, revenue, and brand integrity across diverse markets. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales at TPCi, this role serves as the strategic and operational leader for LATAM - shaping how millions of fans across the region engage with the Pokémon brand.

What you’ll do
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Own and drive the sales function across LATAM, including retail channel development and revenue optimization.
- Identify and cultivate strategic retail partnerships to enhance market penetration.
- Develop and implement short and long-term strategies to grow Pokémon’s presence in LATAM.
- Scale operations and optimize the performance of the regional sales office in Mexico City.
Localized Experiences & Product Development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create customized regional product lines.
- Ensure market-specific content and communications align with brand standards and resonate with local audiences.
Brand Experience & Engagement
- Design and execute in-market experiences that reflect the Pokémon brand’s values and appeal.
- Monitor and assess regional operations to ensure alignment with global brand strategy.
Market Intelligence & Performance Monitoring
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Track KPIs and provide regular performance updates to senior leadership.
People Leadership & Team Management
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing regional teams across Latin America.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management to direct reports.
- Collaborate effectively with global and regional stakeholders across departments.
Travel & Collaboration
- Travel across Latin American markets and occasionally to the United States to collaborate with global teams, attend strategic planning sessions, and participate in leadership meetings.

What you’ll bring
- Twelve+ (12+) years of relevant professional experience, plus five (5) years of management experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Latin American Spanish, at near-native level.
- Experience directly supervising others on a regular basis preferred.
- Experience working with an intellectual property in a business development/marketing role with a strong brand identity.
- Demonstrated project management experience is an asset to this role.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization and work effectively both independently and with others in a cooperative, enthusiastic and friendly manner to accomplish position functions and participate in team efforts.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a productive and committed work effort, meeting deadlines and managing workload.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate persuasively, both orally and in writing, on a prepared and extemporaneous basis with clients, lawyers, and staff.
- Experience with content creation and messaging development.
- Strong business and marketing acumen. Ability to leverage research and competitive intelligence to identify business opportunities and support go-to-market strategies.
- Ability to appropriately delegate work to others to meet deadlines, goals and objectives, develop skills and knowledge of others, build capacity and productivity of department.
- Strong knowledge of and familiarity with legal and business environments.
