- Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) [Multiple Openings: Level 2 & 3]
- Job Summary: As an SDET 2 or 3, you will ensure that only the highest quality products are provided to internal and external customers. This role will be responsible for test automation and tool development to validate Pokémon digital products and internal services are of the highest quality. The role will partner with the development, DevOps and product teams to define, measure and advocate for quality at each step of the software development lifecycle.

Note: We have multiple openings and are hiring for IC Level 2 & 3 for a Fixed Term Contract role of 24 months.
What you’ll do

Partner with all levels of the technical organization to build and enhance an automation framework focused on quality.
- Develop customer centric automation test processes for all existing and new product development.
- Develop and maintain automated tests in python and Selenium to ensure traceability to requirements
- Build and enhance tools for internal use to ensure quality at scale.
- Lead project implementation and execution through test strategies for a wide range of technically challenging products.

Take ownership of changes in our software test methodology for continuous improvement
- Document, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs through reviews with development team.
- Execute and report automated and manual test cases during all phases of the development life cycle.

Advocate for a quality mindset across all partners and re-enforce a “shift-left” culture in our SDLC
What you’ll bring
- Three (3) to seven (7) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
- Experience operating within an Agile development environment.
- Experience with continuous testing practices.
- Experience with test frameworks (Selenium, nUnit, xUnit, and pytest).
- Knowledge of REST protocol and web sockets.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services highly recommended.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $106,350.00 - $126,753.75 per year for Level 2; new hires generally start between $127,850.00 - $152,878.75 per year for Level 3. The full range is $106,350.00 - $160,500.00 per year for Level 2; the full range is $127,850.00 - $194,000.00 per year for Level 3. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
