  • Job Title: Associate Product Marketing Manager

  • Job Summary: The Associate Product Marketing Manager – TCG will support the execution of marketing programs that drive awareness and engagement for Pokémon Trading Card Game products and campaigns. This role assists the TCG Product Marketing team by maintaining the overall marketing calendar, producing weekly updates for stakeholders, managing product samples, and supporting the development of marketing assets. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional marketing experiences for fans worldwide.

What you’ll do

  • Support the TCG PMM team in planning and executing marketing campaigns for Pokémon TCG products and expansions, including preparing marketing documents for internal review and sharing finalized plans with stakeholders.

  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring campaigns launch on schedule and meet quality standards.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Creative, Digital, PR) and external partners to support integrated marketing efforts, including maintaining a weekly update newsletter and managing the overall marketing calendar to ensure all channel teams are informed about critical dates.

  • Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

  • Support development of marketing assets, including reviewing copy and creative for accuracy and brand consistency.

  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure global alignment and address market-specific needs.

  • Maintain documentation and provide clear follow-up to keep stakeholders informed throughout project lifecycles.

  • Contribute to brainstorming and creative development for marketing initiatives.

  • Manage product samples, including inputting initial quantities, overseeing the sample pool, placing orders, and ensuring teams receive the products needed to execute key marketing initiatives.               

              

What you’ll bring

  • Foundational Experience: 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in marketing or a related field, or equivalent applicable experience.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline required; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus but not expected.

  • Communication: Clear and proactive communicator with the ability to share updates and collaborate across teams; comfortable presenting information to stakeholders.

  • Collaboration: Experience working with internal teams and external partners; exposure to agency coordination or international stakeholders is a plus.

  • Project Support: Strong organizational skills to assist with scheduling, maintaining calendars, and supporting project execution.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions with guidance from senior team members.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Brand Knowledge: Interest in the Pokémon brand and willingness to learn about the TCG category; passion for gaming or entertainment is a plus.

  • Cultural Awareness: Understanding of Japanese language and business culture is a strong plus, but not required.

  • Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 5–10% of the time. 

  • While passion for the Pokémon brand is a plus it is not required, however knowledge of and a willingness to learn more about the brand is a must.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $84,800 – $100,035 per year. The full range is $84,800 – $125,800 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
