- Job Title: Trade Compliance Analyst, Europe
- Job Summary: The Trade Compliance Analyst role will be responsible for supporting The Pokémon Company International trade compliance program in the European region (UK & EU). This role will promote the sustainability and longevity of the program by developing and implementing guidelines and procedures, identifying improvement opportunities, building the governance program, and assisting with projects and new programs to support trade compliance initiatives as needed.

What you’ll do
- Build and execute the trade governance program for the European region.
- Develop guidelines and training content to promote cross-functional understanding of trade compliance.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of work instructions and SOPs related to import and export processes.
- Utilize expertise in researching regulations, policies, and best practices in relation to compliance issues such as valuation, drawback, reconciliation, and forced labor.
- Assist in the implementation of corrective actions resulting from internal audit findings and compliance assessments.
- Work with cross-functional partners (Logistics, Product Development, Brokers, etc.) to identify and support process improvements.
- Implement improvement plans and automation of manual processes to drive operational efficiencies and enhance compliance.
- Support Restricted Party Screening process.
- Assist in maintaining the HTS Classification process and database.
- Assist in validation and recordkeeping related to Free Trade Agreements.
- Work effectively across time zones.
What you’ll bring
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience in import/export operations and European trade compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Logistics, Trade Compliance, Business Administration or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
- Experience in identifying compliance risks and recommending solutions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, including an ability to effectively communicate across all levels and functions of an organization.
- Strong experience with process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
- Key technical areas of focus include: import/export filing; customs reporting requirements; HS classification; country of origin, product valuation; special trade programs; Incoterms; customs procedures, recordkeeping requirements; among others.
- English fluency required, additional European languages a plus.
- Team player, fast learner, self-motivated, result oriented.
- Oracle GTM experience preferred.
Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between £47,600.00 - £63,300.00 per year. The full range is £47,600.00 - £85,600.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
