What You'll Do:
We’re looking for a talented designer to join our team. You’ll be working on Polycam’s cross-platform SaaS product (iOS/Android/VisionPro/Web).
Our ideal candidate is passionate about creative tools, AR/XR/3D, and prototyping interfaces for emerging technologies. You will design and ship high quality product improvements across multiple platforms and dimensions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of intuitive interfaces for complex 3D creation tools across mobile and web devices
- Own the product management process from ideation to release
- Participate in customer interviews to understand how Polycam’s users’ needs are currently being met (or not).
- Parse analytics and usage data to gather evidence about user patterns.
- Help us evolve and maintain the design system across mobile and web.
- Work in a highly collaborative fashion with engineers to ensure clarity in how your designs are implemented and used.
- Contribute to overall product strategy and direction.
- Consistently find ways to make 3D easy for anyone to use.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience designing UX and UI for software
- Experience designing for AR, Camera, or 3D-related mobile apps
- Experience with 3D software like Blender, Maya, SketchUp, After Effects, Houdini, Unity or Unreal
- Experience working independently from concept to implementation
- Can reduce highly complex problems to their essential tradeoffs and neatly make decisions
- Care deeply about component-based design systems
- Experience designing with Computer Vision and LLMs
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience designing creative tools
- Solid visual design and brand development experience
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Design or Human-Computer Interaction
Salary Range:
The salary range for this role is $180,000 – $210,000. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary, therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options.
