About the Role:
We’re looking for a Growth Engineer to join our newly formed Business Engineering team. This team is dedicated to accelerating Polycam’s growth by supporting our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. This is a high-impact role working directly with our Co-Founder and CEO on some of the company’s most strategic initiatives. You will blend engineering, data, and experimentation to help us grow our user base, increase retention, and drive revenue. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ship experiments, optimize funnels, and uncover new ways to connect millions of users to Polycam.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain fullstack systems that enable growth across web and mobile platforms.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to develop data-driven strategies that acquire, activate, and retain users.
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to improve conversion and engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement growth initiatives.
- Integrate and manage data pipelines between tools like BigQuery, Salesforce, and Zendesk.
- Use analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel) to measure success, uncover insights, and guide decision-making.
- Continuously iterate on growth experiments based on performance metrics and user feedback.
- Stay ahead of trends in growth engineering, analytics, and optimization.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of total engineering experience, including 3+ years in React and TypeScript
- Comfortable using analytics and experimentation tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics.
- Skilled in querying languages such as SQL or BigQuery (or a similar querying language).
- Experienced in designing and running A/B tests and other data-driven experiments.
- Strong communicator with the ability to translate business goals into technical solutions.
- Excited to learn new technologies (like Swift) and adapt quickly.
- Passionate about experimentation, data, and building tools that accelerate growth.
- Thrives working autonomously in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with CRM or engagement platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Customer.io).
- Prior mobile development experience (React Native or Swift).
- Background in startups or growth-focused teams where autonomy and speed matter.
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $140,000 - 180,000. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
